Creating Inclusive Related Services Workshop & On-site Demonstration

This workshop and on-site demonstration will highlight best practices in providing inclusive, push-in OT and LAS services for students with disabilities in the general education environment.  Practical topics such as writing IEP goals for the general education setting, addressing carryover and generalization, intervention and therapy activities in the general education classroom, and scheduling push-in services (and more!) will be addressed.  The workshop will be held Friday, April 12, 8:00-2:30 at WISH’s secondary campus, which features WISH Middle and WISH Academy High School (7400 W. Manchester Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90045).

This training is free of charge and open to all DIS providers at any COP school including those who provide services at charters through a non-public agencies (NPA)! This training is appropriate for DIS providers and their supervisors and special education colleagues.

Stipends of $200 are available per school (up to the first 25 schools) that schools may use to stipend participants for their attendance or to pay NPA costs for their NPA DIS providers to attend. Please get in touch with Rachel Woodward (rwoodward@wishcharter.org) with any questions related to registration.
