Suspension Basics via Zoom

This training will review LAUSD SELPA policy as well as state and federal laws regarding the suspension of students with disabilities. Key topics covered include alternatives to suspension, IEP team responsibilities, timelines during suspension, and re-entry for a student following a suspension. We will also discuss behavior supports that school teams can consider prior to and/or after a suspension of a student with an IEP.
