Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI-Crisis Prevention Institute) Training @ LAUSD HQ

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI-Crisis Prevention Institute) is the adopted Option 3 community training to meet CA Ed. Code requirements regarding emergency interventions. These trainings are only available to Option 3 charter school staff.

The full-day Verbal Intervention (VI) and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training will include:
– 2-4 hours of Verbal De-escalation training, and
– 2-4 hours of Physicals training with Certified Instructor(s).

As a reminder, the CPI NCI trainings require online module prework completion prior to the in-person training. If all online modules are not completed by the start of the training, you will not be admitted into the training.
