Mental Health Bootcamp @ LAUSD HQ

The Mental Health Boot Camp will provide participants with valuable tools and strategies to proactively address students’ mental health needs. The Boot Camp will review best practices and LAUSD’s protocols for crisis response, which form the foundation of our work as responders. The training will assist mental health providers to identify the different roles of the School Site Crisis Team’s key players (e.g., administrators, mental health professionals, counselors, teachers, etc.,) during an individual or school-wide crisis situation. In addition, participants will learn how to support students at risk of Suicide and Threat (violence to others).
