Manifestation Determination (MD) Basics via Zoom

This training will identify the purpose of a Manifestation Determination (MD) discussion during an IEP when the MD is mandatory versus recommended, and how the MD can be used to develop the next steps for a student following formal discipline such as suspensions or engaging in challenging behaviors that impede learning. Participants will also learn about the legal requirements regarding MDs as well as best practices when conducting an MD.
